In God's Hands

  This morning I was reflecting on an experience I had twelve weeks ago.  Because of the drugs I had been taking I truly believed that the time had come for the second coming of the Lord. At first I was afraid for my husband. I thought that I would be taken up and he would be not make it and we would be separated for Eternity.  But as I witnessed how much he loved me that fear subsided. Then my thoughts went to: "How ready are YOU?" The truthful answer surprised me. I started looking around at what my life was like and realized how much of my life was in disorder and how much I had strayed from where I knew I should be. I realized that slowly I had gotten off course and was amazed at how far I had gotten. If the Savior came tomorrow to have the angels call his elect, would you be among them?   John Parry  1789-1868 John Parry's Granddaughter was Elizabeth Williams. Her Granddaughter was Agatha Newton (My Grandmother). He was from Wales and the first Choir Conductor. He was also a master stonecutter that worked on the Salt Lake and Logan Temples All this I have know from my childhood.
